transitioning
in
Santa Clara to 280, and south on 17.
We
are
touring
the
campus
for
Claire's
sake,
and
the university is still impressive in site and import.
After light refreshments in the
Bookstore Quadrangle,
we
eventually
head
north
again
on
the
Coast
Road
across
the
San
Mateo
border,
in
and
out
of
fog
towards
Half Moon
Bay,
stopping at Moss Beach Distillery
for
a
late lunch
and
hair-raising
tour
of
the
headlands
(against the bright sun,
could not read the
"Extreme Danger --
Trail Closed"
until downloading the pictures later)...
Onward
through
Devil's
Slide's
Tunnel,
Pacifica's
Linda Mar
and
Rockaway Beaches,
Daly
City,
and beyond,
along
San
Francisco's
Great
Highway,
Camino del
Mar,
Lincoln
Drive,
and over the Golden Gate to
